“Tulia” is inspired by the bright tulip fields of the Pacific Northwest and the rich hues of homemade wine. My Uncle Tulio would make wine in his garden shed and share it over long dinners during sweet family visits — moments of connection marked by laughter and burgundy-stained smiles.

Painted with acrylics, inks, and pigments in magentas, oranges, and deep reds, the piece celebrates the vibrancy of flowers in bloom and of wine poured generously.
